This international conference explores the relationship between feminist academic work and social change. Participants will discuss initiatives that use teaching and research to address inequalities in various domains, sharing insights as to how academics can effectively:

  • Contribute to campaigns for social justice through, for example, direct organising and policy work with nonAgovernmental organizations
  • Engage in emancipatory and feminist scholarship and research practices
  • Support and learn from communities through the medium of clinics and advocacy training
  • Promote approaches to student learning that foster critical understandings of social justice issues

Conference schedule and programme

The conference opens at 3pm on Friday March 11th, with registration available from 2.30pm.  It closes at 6pm on Saturday 12th March.
